ARCHITECTURE + TRANSPORTATION | OTTAWA UNION STATION :: JOHN B. PARKIN ASSOCIATES, ARCHITECTS, 1966

The first time I saw Panda Associates’ black and white photos of Ottawa Station hovering and shimmering in all its glory, I knew I had to make a pilgrimage to Ottawa by train.  I wasn’t disappointed; Ottawa Station truly is a marvel of mid-60s modernism. Just the ticket to go along with Allan Fleming’s 1960 revamp of the entire CN network:
